The Diamond Beach is a strip of black sand belonging to the greater Breidamerkursandur glacial plain, located by Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon on the South Coast of Iceland. Parts of the glaciers that breaks off floats out to see but is pushed back to the the black sand beach by the waves. The contrast between the clear blue ice and the black sand makes the ice truly shine like a diamond.
